IGMO Presents “Dark Rhyme”
The Indonesian Hard-Rockers releases the Fourth Single from their upcoming album, Take It Over
Kediri 26 November 2021, IGMO are excited to announce the release of their latest single. Titled “Dark Rhyme”, this hard-rock tune is available everywhere from November 26, 2021.
The official lyrics video will be released a week later, on December 3, 2021. And it’s now available for premiere scheduling on IGMO’s official YouTube channel.
Dio, the frontman & songwriter has said about the song, “(Dark Rhyme) ... In a broader context, it can be interpreted as our disgust for things that trigger conflict. It's as simple as clickbait news, framing manipulation, to real hoaxes."
“…Like, there's too much information these days. So much that we can no longer distinguish ‘fact’ & ‘fiction’. Everyone has their own version of the truth & fights over that," He continued. Summing up, “Dark Rhyme” is IGMO’s personal view towards the so-called post-truth era.
As with the entire Take It Over materials, “Dark Rhyme” was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Yasa Wijaya at Vamos31 Record Studio, Malang.
Last but not least, PUCATPENA, their most trusted loving collaborator from day 1 did the artwork for “Dark Rhyme”—as with two previously released singles and the upcoming album, Take It Over.
lyrics
Dark rhyme's set to ruin my time
Dark rhyme would change circumstance
I put my old physics book
On the table yeah
Pulled by gravity
Now, I'll start to rock
SInging slowly / Screaming loudly
Huu stop your nonsense
Huu stop your nonsense
Take your dark rhyme for yourself, darkmaker
No time to listen to your nonsense, darkmaker
